Software Requirements:

OS X Version 10.3 or newer

- or -

Windows 2000 or newer

Hardware Requirements:

1. Any late-model Macintosh or Windows tower or laptop with either single or independent video outputs (independent video outputs are recommended for show use.)

- or -

2. Any Intel powered Macintoshe that has independent video outputs.

3. OPTIONAL: An external USB hand or foot controller that can send keystrokes to your Mac or PC for "remote control" of ShadowScript's prompting speed and direction. (Foot controllers work great for individual artists on stage to control their own prompting!)

What's in the download?

Macintosh: A "Mac zipped disk image", that when downloaded, extracted and mounted, contains the ShadowScript application folder, which you simply "drag" onto your Mac's Application folder (or wherever on your Mac's hard disk you wish to store the program.)

Windows: A "zip" file containing the ShadowScript folder, which when "unzipped" you may simply copy to any place on your PC...your desktop or your "Program Files" directory (with a shortcut in your Start Menu) are typical.

Do you need a LICENSE KEY?

No. The dowloaded version is the fully-functional program. It will run in a "DEMO" mode without a license key, which limits you to a maximum of TEN files in the SETLIST and a maximum of TEN minutes of continuous prompting in a single session.

NOTE for upgrading to Snow Leopard: Snow Leopard caused a problem with the license keys in ShadowScript! If you upgrade your Mac to Snow Leopard, you'll need to also upgrade to the current version of ShadowScript, below!
